Hi, I’m KC Holiday.

coach & advisor to 1,000+ entrepreneurs.

I've walked a non-traditional path to get where I am, but wouldn’t change a thing (except maybe a few hairstyles).

I launched my first business, QALO, in my early 20s with nothing but big dreams in a small LA studio.

Five years later, we’d sold over $150M of rings, made the Inc. 500, had our rings worn by LeBron James and Steph Curry, and sold in 4,000+ stores like Bass Pro Shop and REI.

After exiting, I ended my run of being a college dropout with a business degree at Lipscomb, then moved to Australia and helped run BetterLabs—a $40M venture fund and startup studio.

There, I coached founders across 25 portfolio companies in everything from FinTech to DeathTech (yep, that’s a thing).

Now, I’m a business coach and Head of Community at Daily Mentor, a private mentorship group, where we mentor over 400 e-commerce brand owners on the journey from million-dollar business to 10M+ and beyond.

12 rules that shape my thInking

  • If you want to change, you must first hold yourself to a standard that demands changing how you live daily.

  • Your business is low on cash.

    Nobody watched your video.

    That hire didn’t work out.

    “Good.”

This mentality, borrowed from Jocko Willink, stems from the idea that this mindset applied to every scenario, whether it’s good or bad, leads to only one outcome. You getting better.

  • You become the ceiling for everything you do.

Find people who will tell you the truth, complement your gifts, and want to help you write your story.

  • You become who you admire.

I can tell you the character of a person by who they’re a disciple of.

  • I love reading. I love movies. I love learning from the craftsmanship of others.

But if all you do is consume, you’ll miss what God designed you to create—and the world misses out on who you are.

    Hit publish.

  • Life is hard. Messy. Joyful. Grueling. Magical.

My faith remains the constant that allows me to continue regardless of the stage I’m in.

  • Run hard at conflict. Don’t let it simmer.

If there’s an elephant in the room, don’t wait for someone else to get it out.

  • There are things I want in life. My responsibility is finding the best way to achieve what I want.

Therefore, the businesses I start or invest in are simply the vessels I’ve chosen to take me from where I am now to where I want to go.

They aren’t my babies. They aren’t my worth. They are vessels.

  • The only real differentiator in a world of copycats is your brand. When you stay true to who you are and why you do what you do, nobody will know your next step.

Every advantage has a shelf life, except a brand.

  • I’ve had to learn that my opinion of my work is the most important one.

Every artist has haters. Who cares.

If you make it, and you are proud of it, that’s all that matters.

  • If no one sees it, no one can love it.

If no one loves it, no one can help you make it better.

Share what you made. Then listen.

    That’s how it grows.

  • Leave some mystery.

    “How do you do it?”

They’ll never know, and that’s what keeps them coming back.
